We are in the middle of October and I haven't posted since April! That's what bridal season does to us stichers. It makes time dissolve into one long event and then all of a sudden you look up and months have passed!
We have been working hard on some incredible projects for brides and mothers. I love it when a bride chooses lots of color and we had fun with a stunning red silk gauze and lace dress. The silk gauze was by Carolina Herrera layered over red silk crepe de chine. The lace accented the deep red color and added a touch of traditional bridal to the dress. Thank you Anne for a brillant idea!
We are waiting with MUCH EXCITEMENT for new inventory to arrive! We traveled to Los Angeles for the L.A. Textile Show that was held October 4th through the 6th. We found so many exciting, beautiful new laces, printed rayons and cottons, woolens, knits and fancy fabrics! I am hoping they all arrive soon. Watch our email news and our Instagram, #tissufinefabrics, for updates.
As the cooler weather settles in the season lends itself to some creative time indoors creating the perfect new winter wardrobe. Maybe a faux fur jacket or a new wool coat? A wool skirt or slacks? Create someting wonderful that’s just your style. Happy sewing everyone!
